Andile Sotiya

A South African born dancer, teacher, choreographer and a former Associate Artist at The Place (2002-2004) and a lecturer at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds(2004-2015).

Credits include movement direction for Who Killed Mr Drum for Treatment Theatre directed by Paul Robinson and with performances at the Riverside Studios in London. He also choreographed for nightclub scene for the movie Hunky Dory directed by Marc Evans featuring Minnie Driver. He has also been a creative producer for Miss Black Yorkshire, 2011 (Queens Hotel, Leeds), Miss Yorkshire 2012 and 2013 (O2 Academy Leeds and Queens Hotel Leeds). He regularly collaborates with theatre directors including Chuck Mike from Collective Artistes to Rob Dixon of RedLadder Theatre for Damned United and Moji Kareem from Utopia Theatre.
